Vinny Magalhaes submits Daniel Gracie with banana split – VIDEO
This past weekend here in NYC, the inaugural 16-man “Ultimate Absolute” no-gi grappling tournament went down and Team Fight Nerd was there to get the results. Through this week, and probably into the weekend, we will be posting full-videos of most of the event. I say most since we had camera issues during the first half, but thats only the opening fights, we got the final eight and that’s where things really picked up.
Moving into the quarter-finals of the show, Daniel Gracie advanced to meet M-1 Global Light-Heavyweight champion Vinny Magalhaes, who quickly dispatched Gracie with an amazingly smooth and tricky banana-split submission. I pray my readers never have to feel that pain. This video made the rounds yesterday before I even posted it on my site officially, so you know it must be awesome if the UG, DSTRYRS, Iron Forges Iron, and many others put it on their sites.
