TUF Times Blog: Season 14, Episode 4 recap with Dustin Neace

BY DUSTIN NEACE

This week, what can I say… Dennis Bermudez did what he had to do to get this win! He is a great wrestler and has some pretty good boxing! He came out and maximized his skills and got the victory. However, Stephan Bass really did not fight like himself. I really think it was due to the fact that his 225lb coach Micheal Bisping beat the crap out of him just three days before his fight. When you are dropping weight it is hard to go with someone the same weight because you are draining your body to get down to the weight you need to be at weight-in’s. Bisping knows that and he also knows he is 10 times the size of anyone on the show. He is a bully and really is just a horrible coach. I really do not have anything good to say about the guy. He does not show up for fight picks or weight in’s, and also just talks so much crap!

Dustin Pague VS Louis Gaudinot was a great fight! Both guys came out and went hard for one and half rounds. Pague is probably one of the most respectful and dedicated fighters I have ever seen in my life! He is always professional inside and outside the cage and it also showed in this fight. Gaudinot is a hell of a fighter as well I just think Pague wanted this more. Gaudinot is the type of guy who likes to have fun and just hang out and when it is fight time he comes to throw down. I think Gaudinot could have beaten anyone in the house on any given day, but that day.

After both of the fights, Bisping made sure to show how immature he really was. He bashed both of his fighters for his bad coaching job. I know he is not the one in the cage, and it is really up to the fighter to get the win, but there are things that go into each and every fight that a coach brings to the table that Bisping does not have. All you could really hear during both the fights is his corner yelling “F this!” and “F that” and “Get the F up”… I personally would NEVER want a coach to do that in my corner.

Stay tuned next week for episode four and more from Dustin! Dustin would like to thank Infuse Fight Gear, Fleyes Gear, and Fiore MMA! You can follow Dustin on Facebook too! Image by Justin McAllistar
