In this installment, we get a first-hand look at the new Pride FC mode, which allows players to relive the glory days of the best damn MMA company ever! This video showcases how the characters are altered in this mode, the new rules for Pride, and your first chance to hear commentary by Bas Rutten and Stephen Quadros, and Lenne Hardt back in action! In this video, you will learn that there are no more CG cut scenes, but all specially edited videos of actual licensed UFC footage integrated into the game. You also get a chance to see how the career mode works, as well as the new training methods and how you put together the best fighter in the game, including buying sparring partners as you grow and how this game emphasizes fighting over training as opposed to the previous games.

In this part, we watch an exhibition bout between Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo, giving us a first look at the brand new fighter entrances, a first in a UFC video game. Viewers also get a chance to check out the tutorial mode of the game to see how the game plays and what is new about the controls, as well as check out the phases of combat within the game and show off the new submission system. You can also check out the new interval corner system that happens between rounds of the fights, and other educational aspects integrated into the game to better explain how to play for both noobs and hardcore players.

Welcome to a special day on TheFightNerd.com! This past weekend, I went out to San Francisco for a special event, courtesy of game developer THQ, to get a first-hand look at the new “UFC Undisputed 3″ video game. I have returned with a ton of behind-the-scenes footage and never-before-seen screenshots and new information about the game, and all day today I will be revealing the goodies that I was privy to.

This post will be the official dumping grounds for all of the info through the day, as I will be breaking it up into multiple posts. Starting things off, I will be featuring four videos of a special demo that I sat through that explained the various modes of the game. Later on in the day, I will also be posting some huge photo galleries, so if you are unable to check my site during your day, you can come back here periodically for all of the important links.

Coming out on February 14 by THQ, the new “UFC Undisputed 3″ video game features over 150 fighters across 7 weight classes, as well as the brand spanking new PRIDE FC Mode. Without a doubt, it is the largest roster in MMA gaming history and may very well be the largest fighting game roster ever assembled. Middle Easy reported earlier in the week that some downloadable content was leaked for the upcoming “UFC Undisputed 3″ video game. When you pre-order the game, you get exclusive access to the ‘Rising Star’ fighter package of DLC, which features Nick Diaz, Mayhem Miller, Phil Davis and Brian Stann. The game already has over 100 fighters in it supposedly, so why not add four more to your roster?

In terms of if this pre-order is universal or from one specific vendor, we are unsure. However, stay tuned as more information about this exclusive as well as many others will surely be announced as we get closer to the January 2012 release date for this game on next-gen consoles.
