Ryan Jimmo to star in sequel to the worst movie ever made
I tried to think of a way to start this post in a sly way, but I can not. This piece of news is just too weird for me to be coy about it.
According to this post from Brazen Apparel, which was confirmed via MST3K Info (since I could not believe the news when I first read it either), MFC Light-heavyweight champion Ryan “Big Deal” Jimmo will be starring in the sequel to “Manos: Hands of Fate,” entitled “Manos” Search for The Valley Lodge.”
Fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 will remember the movie for being awful, hilarious, and awfully hilarious, and full of memorable quips from the satyr known as Torgo. Jimmo will play “Joe Miller,” alongside former WWE superstars Gene Snitsky Maria Kanellis, and Joe Neal Warren, playing the role his father played in the original, and Diane Mahree, AKA “Maggie” from the original will return to the movie that made her change her name.
Jimmo was also recently signed to the UFC, and will debut on UFC on FX 1 on January 20, 2012 against Karlos Vemola. Frankly, that is nowhere near as exciting as being cast in a “manos” movie.
