Rustam Chsiey goes the distance with “Cyborg” Abreu at “Ultimate Absolute” – VIDEO

This past weekend here in NYC, the inaugural 16-man “Ultimate Absolute” no-gi grappling tournament went down and Team Fight Nerd was there to get the results. Through this week, and probably into the weekend, we will be posting full-videos of most of the event. I say most since we had camera issues during the first half, but thats only the opening fights, we got the final eight and that’s where things really picked up.

Yesterday, we saw Daniel Gracie tap out Abmar Barbosa by armbar, today we have Rustam Chsiey meeting Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu in the quarter-finals. The match goes the distance and was one of the more exciting bouts of the night, but then again the entire night of grappling matches were eventful. Stay tuned for more fights!
