Manny Pacquiao sings “Sometimes when we touch”
This is the furthest thing from real news but damn if it’s not funny! Manny Pacquiao appeared last night on The Jimmy Kimmel show on ABC to hype his bout this weekend against Miguel Cotto on HBO (not that you will be watching it since Strikeforce is free on CBS). Earlier in the show, Kimmel had Pamela Anderson on who had mentioned MMA (well, she said UFC but close enough) and Kimmel corrected Pamela and told her Manny was the real deal, not that “leg kicking stuff.”
Anyway, the 2009 ESPY winner for “Best Fighter” came out as the main guest to discuss his popularity in America and the Phillipines, his number of servants and how to get beat with a stick. I can not make this stuff up, and remember this is from the same Fight Nerd who brought you crowbars and tazers to peoples nuts. Manny cracks up hard at all of Jimmy’s jokes, and the sight of him laughing so hysterically turns out to be far more hilarious than any of Kimmel’s antics. So at some point, the two boys get to talking and Jimmy convinces Manny to serenade us with his rendition of the Dan Hill classic, “Sometimes when we touch.” Enjoy this touching rendition from one half of the main event this weekend on HBO. Note: Vids are all high quality so if you have a slow connection, give them some time to load.
