First leaked gameplay footage of “UFC Undisputed 3″ is a knock-out hit

THQ made a big announcement earlier this year when they said they would be releasing UFC Undisputed 3. Featuring a roster of over 150 characters, as well as a special Pride FC mode, it was only a matter of time before some footage began to leak. Thankfully, that time is now.

Middle Easy found this gem online of Rampage VS Jon Jones. This is most definitely an early build, as the models are still missing some textures and clipping with the background, plus Bruce Buffer looks much less blocky in real life. However, the fighters both look incredibly life-like so far, right down to the facial expressions of Quinton Jackson and Jon Jones. I can only assume improvements will continue to be made since this is early on, but if this is the first test run it can only get better.

The most important part is how the fighting looks, and it is smoother than ever, especially when you see Jon Jones throw a spinning back kick to Rampage’s gut. There is also some good banter from commentators Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg, but I will let you have a listen yourself while you watch the vid. Chances are this footage may have been part of some promotional stuff during SDCC this past weekend, or it could have been completely coincidental to this event. Either way, I am grateful it exists and look forward to keeping up with the progress of this game.
