Kung Fu Factory & MMA Supremacy battle against human trafficking with “Man Up” campaign

“The Coalition LLC” (Coalition Fight Music) announced today that videogame developers Kung Fu Factory have joined forces to support the International “Man Up” campaign against Human Trafficking. Human Trafficking is the illegal trade in human beings (mainly women and children) for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation or forced labor, a modern-day form of slavery.

Kung Fu Factory and “Supremacy MMA”, who just announced that Strikeforce fighter Shane Del Rosario would be a playable character in the game, join a collective of Mixed Martial Artists and MMA brands who have formally endorsed the international “Man Up” Campaign. The premise of the Campaign is to engage the MMA community to make a stand against national and international human trafficking and child sexual exploitation occurring in the US and abroad.

In addition to supporting the “Man Up” Campaign, Supremacy MMA will feature two Coalition Fight Music songs: “Reach Out” and “Darius” from CFM’s “The Album”, MMA’s 1st Album. Both songs have been selected to bring the sounds of the sport to the masses. “It’s our pleasure to partner with The Coalition and their ‘Man Up’ campaign,” said Ricci Rukavina, CEO and Creative Director, Kung Fu Factory. “I can’t think of anything more important than protecting kids from real threats.”

“Kung Fu Factory have long been pioneers in the arena of MMA gaming, from releasing the UFC’s first video game to being the first MMA game to feature female fighters with Supremacy. Now they’re the first Video Game Company to stand up for the kids.” said Tony Savo, EO/Producer of CFM. “This is a major victory for the whole MMA community and for those who fight against Human Trafficking.”

Published by 505 Games and developed by Kung Fu Factory, “Supremacy MMA” brings the brutality of unsanctioned MMA combat, favoring fast-and-furious gameplay and underground aesthetics over official branding and television-style presentation. “Supremacy MMA” delivers the most daring MMA videogame experience to date, including bone-crushing finishing moves, real life legendary fighters Jens Pulver and Jerome Lebanner and the first ever female fighters in MMA gaming history (plural since there was an MMA game before with one female fighter). The game is slated for release June 7, 2011, on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 consoles.
