EA Sports officially announced on Friday the addition of legendary mixed martial arts fighter Frank Shamrock to the roster of fighters for its EA MMA 2010 video game.
Shamrock was the first-ever UFC middleweight champion, WEC light heavyweight champion, and Strikeforce middleweight champion.
He holds a record of 23-10-2, including wins over Tito Ortiz, Phil Baroni, and Jeremy Horn.
Fedor Emelianenko, Randy Couture, Gegard Mousasi, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Tim Kennedy, Tim Sylvia and Jay Hieron were all previously announced (or the fighters informed the fans) to be included on the roster, and this site broke the news that Bas Rutten would be included in the game as well.
EA MMA 2010 is set to be released sometime in 2010 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. You can view the video of Bas confirming his participation in the game at this link: http://thefightnerd.com/bas-rutten-confirms-participation-in-ea-mma-game-and-more/
