“Fight Game: Heroes” smashes its way onto Android devices

While at the Consumer Electronics Show last week in Las Vegas, I had a chance to take a look at a new MMA game that has gone under the radar thus far and has been released for the Android platform with a few familiar faces.

What looks to be standard fight game on the surface actually has an impressive roster of MMA and K-1 superstars. Semmy Schilt, Alistair Overeem (pictured above on the left), Sergei Kharitonov, and Gokhan Saki all lend their likeness to “Fight Game: Heroes“, from developers Fight Game Interactive. You may not find it too surprising that one of the producers for the game is the one and only Bas Boon, owner of Golden Glory –and most recently in headlines over legal issues with UFC Heavyweight, Alistair Overeem.

Overeem surprised fans and demoed the game at the Qualcom booth at CES, and showed the game’s impressive Game Command System, allowing players to share images and video onto a television or large display. It was announced there that there would soon be a limited edition version of the game entitled “The Reem”, however there were no details beyond that. If you are interested in throwing down on this one, head over the Android Marketplace to give it a whirl.
