Fedor takes on the Korean Zombie in a televised exhibition

In what appears to be a light-hearted sparring session, former Pride Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko took on popular UFC fighter, Chan Sung Jung on a Korean show, “Star King.” The two seemed to be having a great time showing off their skills, although the exhibition was aimed at displaying Fedor’s SAMBO skill set. The video is entertaining enough, and it’s interesting to see that Emelianenko doesn’t really look much bigger than a featherweight.

Rumors have been spreading of Fedor returning to the ring sometime in April against a yet unknown opponent. Original whispers of a match-up with Bobby Lashley have been shot down by Fedor’s management, but I wouldn’t rule it out quite yet. Fedor most recently defeated judo stand out, Sato Ishii at Dream’s New Year’s Eve match up, with the Japanese fight now reportedly suffering from a cerebral edema as a result of the bout. Chan Sung Jung most recently knocked out Mark Hominick at UFC 140. There is still no word on his next fight.
