Fedor off to the Netherlands to train for his next fight

It looks like Fedor’s most recent loss has shaken him up enough to seek a new camp that will challenge him and hopefully get him back to his winning ways!

Evgeni Kogan, director of operations for M-1 Global who also just announced their return to America and debut on Showtime, said today the former Pride FC and WAMMA (remember them?) champion would likely train in the Netherlands for his next camp, along with bringing in some US training partners. Kogan revealed the news via Twitter but added some further details in an email to Fighters Only, as well as that Vinny Magalhaes would be part of Fedor’s next training camp now that he is with the Russian fighting promotion.

Fedor will be competing in the Russian national Sambo championships in a week from now, despite being medically suspended by the NJSAC, which I doubt Russia will uphold since… well, Fedor. Granted, even Fedor lost a match at a previous sambo event he did, and lest we forget about his back to back losses in Strikeforce. A new camp will be critical to getting Fedor back in track as he looks to end his contract with a few wins, and to redeem himself in the eyes of his fans and critics.
