Our friends at THQ have posted another of their prediction simulations using the upcoming “UFC Undisputed 3″ video game (which I played the crap out of a few weeks ago). This time, they are simulating Nick Diaz VS Carlos Condit for the interim welterweight title from UFC 143.

After simulating 25 matches with the in-game AI, UFC Undisputed 3 came to the conclusion that Diaz would win by submission at the end of the second round, specifically at 4:20… Someone must be playing a practical joke at THQ, but it’s even more ironic if they were not. Make your jokes and remarks in the comments, I am not touching this one!

What’s new in Career Mode for “UFC Undisputed 3″? Watch this gameplay video, narrated by game developer Wes Bunn, to learn about your path to become a UFC or PRIDE champion. “UFC Undisputed 3″ hits shelves on February 14th, just in time to ground and pound your valentine’s sweet heart!

Anchor Bay’s latest DVD release, “Sinners and Saints,” starring Johnny Strong, Kevin Phillips, Method Man, Tom Berenger, Costas Mandylor, and MMA legend Bas Rutten, has just come out earlier this month, and we had a chance to check it out before it’s official release.

Here is a quick synopsis of the film from the distributor. “In the gritty New Orleans underbelly, beleaguered Detective Sean Riley is trying to cope with the death of his young son and his failed marriage. Facing a probable suspension from the department, Riley is teamed with a young homicide Detective, Will Ganz, to help solve a series of brutal murders that have plunged the city into a major gang war. The two quickly realize there is something much bigger and far more sinister going on than either could have ever imagined.”

Direct to DVD is typically translated to mean a “meh movie,” so can this film overcome that distinction, or will you be seeing this on the clearance rack at Wal-Mart? Let’s take a look and break this thing down!

Following up their simulated fight for Jose Aldo VS Chad Mendes, THQ has done it again. This time, the developers have attempted to see what will happen when Rashad Evans meets Phil Davis at this weekend’s UFC on Fox 2 show.

After having the computer play 25 matches, the computers determined that Evans would win, defeating Davis by knockout in 28% of their bouts, while five of his wins were by TKO via ground and pound. Both fighters will attempt their share of takedowns, with Rashad defending the majority of his opponents shots. What will actually happen this weekend? Beats me, but if there is one thing I know, it’s to always trust video games.

When it comes to knowing what I shold spend my money on in theaters, there is only one man that I trust – Roger Ebert. My favorite film critic for many reasons, Ebert recently reviewed Steven Soderbergh’s new action film, “Haywire” (which we also reviewed last week on the site). What does the big man have to say about Gina Carano and this movie?

“Steven Soderbergh’s latest film is a thriller that has next to nothing to do with sex,” Ebert wrote on his blog, “except as an implement of distraction, but under the surface, there’s an appeal coiling to that part of many men that feels kinda needy about Lara Croft.”

“Soderbergh is a master craftsman whose work moves almost eagerly between genres,” Ebert added, “This is his first martial arts film, and he correctly assumes that the audience isn’t interested in hearing a lot of dialogue. Lesser directors would use that as an excuse to rely entirely on action and lowball the words. Not Soderbergh and his screenwriter, Lem Dobbs… What they do is craft very precise words for a large group of supporting characters and fill those roles with surprisingly big names. The result is that the film (although its plot is preposterous nonsense) has weight and heft and places Mallory (Carano’s character) at the center of a diabolical labyrinth.”

“Carano is wonderfully athletic,” Ebert mentions about the former Strikeforce women’s star, and adds that “she really does seem to be personally performing some impressive fight moves.” In terms of Gina’s future in film, Roger notes that he excepts her “to become a considerable box-office success, because the fact is, within a limited range, she’s good.”

Ebert gave the film three stars, and called the plot preposterous nonsense, but concluded that “a film like “Haywire” has no lasting significance, but it’s a pleasure to see an A-list director taking the care to make a first-rate genre thriller.”

Indeed, gamers, UFC Undisputed 3 features a mode of gameplay that allows players to take control of fighters and throw them into the Pride FC ring, complete with fighter entrances and Pride rules! Pictures include punches, kicks, knees to the head and stomps to the body from Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Wanderlei Silva, Quinton Jackson, Phil Baroni, Don Frye, Mirko Crocop, Mark Hunt, Kevin Randleman, and many others!

Coming out on February 14 by THQ, the new “UFC Undisputed 3″ video game features over 150 fighters across 7 weight classes, as well as the brand spanking new PRIDE FC Mode. Without a doubt, it is the largest roster in MMA gaming history and may very well be the largest fighting game roster ever assembled. Check out this video of Arianny Celeste during Thursday’s UFC 141 weigh-ins, where the Octagon Girl ooh’s and aah’s over the man who would later retire Brock Lesnar, Alistair Overeem. That is the face of a girl that has seen the top of the mountain, and yay, it was good. It basically resembles the face of me whenever I see Arianny, except that her expression is much more attractive than my ogling face.

In my spare time, I have been working on a revolutionary cologne that will give average joe’s like me the pheromones to make the ladies swoon like they do when they see The Reem. So far, no luck. I think I need more horse flavoring in it, but they are so hard to find in New York.
