Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva on Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix opening round
The Fight Nerd caught up with the ginormous Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva (and his translator) to talk about the opening round of the upcoming Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament, which begins on February 12 at the IZOD Center in New Jersey. Silva talks about his first round opponent, Fedor Emelianeko, and discusses his thoughts on him since his first loss in 10 years to Fabricio Werdum, as well as if there are any holes in his game. Silva also predicts who he will meet in the finals of the tournament and talks about leaving American Top Team to start his own gym.
Don’t forget to check out part one of our interview with Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker, who also discussed the tournament, as well as thoughts on who will win the event, Barnett’s steroid problem, and the feud with Bellator.
